About

I build websites for Philippine businesses that want better than what they currently have.

webdesigner.ph is a new, focused web design practice operating under Palconit Digital Marketing Services. It's built on a specific set of beliefs about Philippine SME websites — how they're sold, how they're built, and how they should earn their keep.

Why webdesigner.ph exists

In the Philippine market, SMEs tend to choose between three options: cheap freelancers shipping templates, agencies quoting at levels that assume enterprise overhead, or DIY builders stretched past their limits. Each is the right fit for some situations and wrong for many.

There's a missing middle — a senior practitioner working solo, charging what the work actually costs, with a documented process and published pricing. That's the position webdesigner.ph is built for.

What I believe

Three convictions.

  1. 01

Many Philippine SME websites are underperforming.

From what I've observed in audits: slow load times on mobile networks, no local payment integration, SEO treated as an afterthought. The problem is usually not talent — it's process discipline.

  2. 02

Agency pricing often reflects agency overhead.

Agencies carry real cost — account managers, PMs, QA layers, insurance. That overhead is sometimes justified for the project; often it isn't. A disciplined solo operator, in my experience, can deliver most of what an agency delivers for a mid-market SME at a lower cost, when the scope genuinely fits.

  3. 03

A good SME website should pay for itself in 12 months.

That's the lens I bring to every brief. If the unit economics don't support a 12-month payback on the build, something in the brief, the buyer fit, or the approach needs to change — and I'll say so during discovery. Past performance of any individual website is not guaranteed.

What I don't do

The restriction is the point.

  • I don't take on projects with unclear scope.
  • I don't write proposals I can't deliver on.
  • I don't work with clients who think a website is a commodity.
  • I don't quote by budget — I quote by scope.
  • I don't offer "packages" that include things you don't need.
  • I don't promise SEO results I can't guarantee.

If this sounds restrictive, it is. The restriction is the point.
